Our chapter’s communications committee meets weekly for half an hour in order to discuss event advertisements and brainstorm ways to better publicize AIChE’s ISU chapter. Members of the committee serve as representatives for AIChE who announce meetings and events in certain courses for new Chemical Engineering students. The committee advertises by means of flyers, social media, and they oversee the photo documentation of chapter events. The communications committee is also responsible for maintaining the AIChE website and newsletters.
